The King of Cheese Dethroned, BMG Replace Clive Davis was a top story Friday. Here it is again: (antiMusic) Clive Davis, the show tune and all things schmaltz loving, record executive has been dethroned from the top of the BMG kingdom and replaced with a younger model. But he'll still have some creative control at the label. So you'll still have plenty of cheddar to choose from.Jam! has the story: Legendary music executive Clive Davis is being replaced by Barry Weiss as chairman and CEO of the BMG label group. Parent company SonyBMG announced the move Thursday. The 74-year-old Davis will become chief creative officer of Sony BMG.
