Misheard Lyrics of the Day: Standing On Your Mother's Corpse

(antiMusic) Who hasn't misheard a song lyrics. We thought it might be fun to feature some favorites here for you to enjoy.

Today's misheard lyric is to Bryan Adams' "Summer of 69" and the lines "Standing on your mother's porch / You told me that you'd wait forever. / Oh and when you held my hand, I knew that it was now, or never. Those lyrics have been misheard as "Standing on your mother's corpse / You told me that you'd wait forever / Oh, and with the hammer in my hand / I knew that it was now or never." Inspired by the Manson Family murders from the summer of 69 perhaps?
