Here it is again: (PR) Our Bright Future, the new album from Tracy Chapman will be released by Elektra Records on November 11, 2008. Recorded this summer in Los Angeles, the album comprises 11 new songs written by Tracy and co-produced with Larry Klein (Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell, Madeleine Peyroux). Our Bright Future is the eighth studio album from the multi-platinum, four-time Grammy-winner and her first since 2005's acclaimed Where You Live. Beginning with the 1988 release of her eponymous debut, Tracy has created a body of work that has been as consistently compelling as it is honest and uncompromising, eloquently telling stories with perennial appeal that are at once personal and universal. Tracy Chapman has announced a 21-date tour of Europe in November and December to coincide with the release of her new album, Our Bright Future.
