Also joining the band in the studio is special guest drummer Alfredo Ortiz, current drummer for Latin rock-band Ozomatli,
(contrary to what Funeral Party's label says, former Wallflowers drummer Mario Calire holds that honor in Ozomatli. Alfredo only played percusion with them early in their career),
and the studio drummer for the popular Beastie Boys.
The full-length record will be a follow up to Funeral Party's three track EP "Bootleg," which was released in November of 2008 and features the tracks, Carwars, NYC Moves to the Sound of LA, and Chalice.
