With a sound that refuses to be fenced in, tied down, or kept under wraps, Static of the Gods draws comparisons from every end of the musical spectrum, from The Cure to Rainer Maria, Rilo Kiley to Jimmy Eat World. The threesome is at work with Ellard on their next full-length due out this fall.

Encompassing the musical threesome of Jen Johnson (voice, guitar, & keyboard), Mike Latulippe (drums) and Ben Voskeritchian (bass & guitar), the trio recently returned to the studio to record the follow-up to their 2007 recordhead release, Cycles Follow Signs, which peaked at #103 on the CMJ charts. Working with producer, Matthew Ellard (Radiohead, Weezer), the record's first single, "Peluche", also includes an animated video created by Alberto Cerriteno of Curiosity Group (Dreamworks, Paramount, Apple).
