So, as an advertiser not even directly associated with the show is liable for damages? How about the contractor who built the fence that the fliers advertising the show was stapled to, why is he not getting sued? Or how about the Kinko's where all the fliers were printed? Or Capitol Records for having Great White as an artist on their roster when the band initially became famous? After all, if it wasn't for the multi-platinum albums Capitol had released, Great White would have never become popular enough to have drawn 300 people to the club that night in Rhode Island. I'm not trying to make light of this tragedy, but there's got to be a point where they should all just put it behind them and move on; no amount of money will change what happened, and to go after someone who had nothing to do with the show aside from telling you about it is just being greedy.
