(antiMusic) Hilary Clinton's campaign got a surprise anti-emo boost with the announcement that Fall Out Boy's spokesmodel Pete Wentz plans to host a fundraiser for Barack Obama. Perhaps education will be a key topic at the event and Wentz can learn that proper nouns are capitalized? PunkNews has the story: Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy has announced that he will be hosting an Obama fundraiser next Tuesday in Chicago. The announcement came in the form a press release today wherein Wentz added: I have been an Obama supporter from day one. After watching the new hampshire primary, I couldn't just be an observer anymore. I had to act. We'll pass on the string quartet, DJ Whiteshadow will put a new spin on politics as usual. I would guess that maybe 2% of FOBs fanbase is old enough to drive, let alone vote. So this is almost as big of a joke as the band itself.
