The band will perform a number of their hits, including "Amazed," a crossover selection that became the number one country song, which reached the top spot in pop music's Billboard Hot 100. The concert also be taped and edited into a one-hour television special that will be shown around the world July 4th on the Armed Forces Network.
Today LONESTAR is Cody Collins, Dean Sams, Michael Britt and Keech Rainwater. Their most recent single "Let Me Love You" debuted on the Billboard charts at #60 and in only one week jumped five spots to #55. The forthcoming album of all new Lonestar material will be available in Fall 2008.
The band recently announced the formation of Lonestar Records to continue to build their fan base with their music and take it to a whole new level over the next decade. The band's musical legacy is tied to modern-day classics like "Amazed," "I'm Already There," and "My Front Porch Looking In," which can be heard on "Patriotic Country 3" available in stores now.
Lonestar takes every opportunity to give back to the troops who hold a special place in their hearts. The younger sister of lead vocalist Cody Collins has just completed military basic training and lead guitarist Michael Britt and his wife, Renee, are very active in "Adopt a Platoon."
