"I am so pleased to sign with Rocky Comfort," states Jones. "Tracy and I have been friends for several years, and I have been a huge fan of his music since the Sticks & Stones days. I have always been impressed with his keen sense for a great song. Tracy is one of those rare country artists who has consistently recorded albums fans can listen to over and over without ever skipping a song. Working with him to create the best music "we" can is going to be so cool."
With the support and friendship of multi-platinum recording artist Tracy Lawrence, Zona is sure to be in good hands. Lawrence launched the Nashville based Rocky Comfort Records on July 25, 2006, as a partnership with his manager Laney Lawrence. The label has had much success from both radio and retail with the release of "Find Out Who Your Friends Are" and "Til I Was A Daddy Too," off of Tracy's current CD, FOR THE LOVE. There are currently four acts signed to RCR and the roster is growing.
"I am excited about having Zona on RCR. It's going to be nice having a true country singer in this format, and we look forward to a lot of success with both Zona and Rocky Comfort Records," said Tracy Lawrence, Co-Owner/Head of A&R. Being snatched up by the label is only the beginning as Zona is starting a radio promotion tour and plans to release his first single by the end of July.
"I am looking forward to getting Zona's single out on radio," added Laney Lawrence, Co-Owner/General Manager of Rocky Comfort Records. "I feel this project will go a long way, especially with all of his success in Texas."
Zona has just completed his new album and his first single will be heating up radio in late July. With his growing fan base and proven track record, Zona can rest easy knowing Rocky Comfort will propel him to new heights. Be sure to watch out for Zona as his new single hits radio this summer.
