(antiMusic) Are you a bit tired of emo? Burnt out on mallcore and bling obsessed hip-hop? If so, alternative rockers Midnight to Twelve just might have what you are looking for. The band's surprisingly eclectic self-titled album hits stores next week and to get you ready for it we asked frontman Jon Hartman to pick some of his favorite songs from the album and tell us about them. Here is Jon with today's song:"How bad" was written at a time when we were playing the crap out of the Sunset Strip back home in LA. We all had regular jobs but for one month we did something ridiculous like 20 shows all over on any day of the week just to plaster our name out there and show people we were willing to work. We played early, we played late at the best clubs and the shadiest clubs. We would see these bands that just expected everything to be handed to them because they bought a spot at the Viper Room on a Friday but they weren't willing to do work to make it happen. We have always believed that you make your own road and those that are the most hungry and willing to sacrifice for it will always end up on top.
