Baltimore, Maryland's Trapped Under Ice has reportedly been robbed in Florence, Italy. Here's a statement being circulated on the band's behalf: "Tour has been a great success but unfortunately today one of the vans was broken into in Florence. The two U.S. bands have lost passports, laptops, all clothes except what they were wearing, a lot of the merch, money, etc. Basically it's a pretty bad and messed up situation. more
The notorious ticketing company Ticketmaster has been spun off from parent IAC/InterActiveCorp. This just a few months after the company lost its contract with Live Nation/Clear Channel. The two events are notable because it diminishes much of the market power that enabled Ticket Master to control venues, tickets and their famous service charges.
