(antiMusic) Avril is merching herself out like a true punk rawk sk8tr gurl! It seems like she is competing with KISS on imagining new ways to con fans out of their money. Jam! has the story on the latest scheme: Avril Lavigne's catty hit single, "Girlfriend," has been turned into a 92-page comic book. Titled "Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend: Sleight of Hand and Heart," the comic tells the story of the sweet boy Dylan, his superficial girlfriend Layla and the misfit Marta who knows there's a secret darkside to Layla. Lavigne's MySpace page says the tale is inspired by last summer's hit single, "Girlfriend," in which the boppy refrain declares, "Hey, hey, you, you, I don't like your girlfriend/ No way, no way, I think you need a new one."
