(antiMusic) The last thing you can imagine Joe Strummer was thinking about when The Clash recorded their classic song "Should I Stay or Should I Go" was selling SUVs or a over-hyped TV karaoke contest. American Idol must have Joe spinning in his grave at the butcher job they did of the song while whoring for Ford. We could only get through the first 20 seconds, but after watching only that much, we say Idol should GO! Punknews had this: The top 11 finalists of American Idol recently recorded a version of "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" for what appears to be a Ford commercial. While Punknews.org typically refrains from commentary, this video is potentially offensive to Joe Strummer's memory, Mick Jones' life, and UFO-piloting aliens so watch at your own risk. - watch the video here (along with the real version of the song)
