Black Tide Week: Day 5

(antiMusic) Don't let the youth of Black Tide fool you, these kids actually bring some credible old school metal to the plate with their major label debut, "Light From Above". The disc hits stores this week, so we thought it would be a good time to ask the band to pick their favorite tracks from the offering and tell us a bit about them. Here is Zakk with today's song: "Give Me A Chance" is a song that we originally demoed with Jason Suecof about 2 years ago. When we first demoed it, it quickly became my favorite song to play, but I knew that it wasn't as "cool" as it has turned out to be. When we were tracking it for the album, we spent three days working out the bass so that it would have the perfect groove and bass lines. Playing it live is so much fun and I just love getting to sing the chorus every night. Every time I listen to it, it makes the hair on my arm stand up.
