(antiMusic) The wait is over, we can now hear what kind of influence Bob Rock has had on the Offspring, as the band is offering fans a free download of the first single from their forthcoming coming album. The song is "Hammerfall," and is being offered for free at www.offspring.com. You just type in your email and your country and you'll receive a link for a one time download of the track as a 320kbps DRM free MP3. The song comes from the album, "Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace," which is set to hit stores on June 17th. According to Billboard, aside from the CD and digital release, they also plan to offer "a gatefold vinyl edition of 'Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace' will come bundled with a free digital download of the album."
