Velvet Revolver/ex-Guns N' Roses drummer Matt Sorum went to Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California on May 3 to speak to a full house of students. The event was hosted by music instructor Terry Newman as a special treat for students taking his history of rock classes. Sorum grew up in Mission Viejo and attended Mission Viejo High School before graduating from Silverado High School. He recalled his musical career starting at a very young age when in 1966 he saw The Beatles perform on "The Ed Sullivan Show". After seeing Ringo Starr play drums, he immediately asked his mother for a set of his own. more

36 Crazyfists will proudly see the Exclusive debut of their first single, "We Gave It Hell", this coming Saturday, May 10 on Mtv2's Headbanger's Ball (at Saturday, 11:00pm EST). The band tapped director XD2X (Behemoth, Unearth, Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster, C3PO) for the video. The track is off of the band's Ferret Music debut, The Tide And Its Takers which releases on May 27.
