(Metal Underground) On January 9, 2009 Unearth will launch a North American headlining tour. Wasting no time starting the New Year right, the band will bring its explosive live show to 19 cities over the course of the scheduled three week trek. Dubbed, "F#%& School, F#%& Work, Let's Rage!," the tour will feature support from Emmure, Impending Doom, and Born of Osiris.On February 11, Unearth will join forces with peers Lamb of God and Dimmu Borgir for the "Defenders Of The Faith 2" UK tour. Tickets are on sale now for the Metal Hammer-sponsored expedition, which will touch down in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow. Upon the completion of the UK tour, Unearth will travel to Australia to perform as one of the featured acts of the 2009 Soundwave Festival. The festival, which originated in Perth, Western Australia and began traveling to other state capitals in 2007, features a hand-picked array of both International and Australian music acts, from various genres and will see Unearth perform alongside Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains, The Dillinger Escape Plan and more. - more on this story
