(RCA) Kings of Leon's new record, Only By The Night, has debuted at #4 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the Billboard Digital Albums chart, selling 74,353 records. This marks the highest debut and the largest single sales week for the band in the US. In the UK, Kings of Leon mania has taken on a new dimension with Only By The Night's strong debut at #1 this week selling 220,879.
The single "Sex On Fire" is now #1 for the third week in a row. A #1 record with a #1 single at the same time is a rare feat for any artist, let alone an international one. And Only By The Night is also exploding in other countries - the record is #1 in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand as well, while debuting at #4 in Canada.
The North American tour begins October 11 at The Joint in Las Vegas, NV. On October 14, the band will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
