Here you go: Moby will release "Last Night Remixed" on Mute on November 25, 2008. Enlisted to remix tracks from 'Last Night' - the most dance oriented and electronic Moby album this decade are the current electronic cream of the crop including Holy Ghost!, Freemasons, Seamus Haji, Spencer & Hill, and Drop The Lime among others.
Remixing has been at the heart of the Moby machine for fifteen years. In 1992 alone, Moby mixed The B52s, The Prodigy, Brian Eno, Jam & Spoon, and Michael Jackson. Since then, Moby's remixed artists including Aerosmith, The Beastie Boys, David Bowie and Metallica.
Moby on remixing: "One of the best things about producing and remixing other artists is to deconstruct their master tapes and see how they've put their songs together. Remixing 'Beat It' was amazing, as I was able to deconstruct an iconic song produced by Quincy Jones. It was almost like going back to school. Remixes in 2008 are more important than they've ever been and the great thing about the ubiquity of software like Abelton and Logic is that now almost anyone can be a remixer."
