Actors, celebrities and rock stars will take to the lanes and showcase their bowling skills to raise awareness for autism in the first fundraising event for VH1 Classic's Rock Autism campaign. The evening will be hosted by actress Holly Robinson Peete, her husband NFL legend Rodney Peete, and former Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro and will include a silent auction, music, food, drinks and Rock Band video game. Meat Loaf, Billy Morrison of Camp Freddy and Circus Diablo, Scott Ian of Anthrax, Donovan Leitch and Matt Sorum of Camp Freddy, Stephen Pearcy, lead singer of Ratt, Jani Lane of Warrant and members of the bands Great White, L.A. Guns, Lit, Nelson, and Steel Panther will all come out to show their support of this very important cause.
VH1's Classic Rock Autism campaign is designed to help educate parents and build awareness about autism and to raise funds for a variety of autism research, advocacy and support organizations.
General admission tickets are $150. Proceeds from the event will benefit three autism organizations including ACT Today!, HollyRod4Kids, and Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism.
