(PR) Filter are to return to Europe in early 2009 for a co-headline tour with P.O.D. The 31 date tour that will take bands all over Europe's mainland and through the UK. This marks a welcome return to Filter who toured this summer, selling out shows in London and making triumphant appearances at Rock am Ring and Rock am Park in Germany. It will also be P.O.D's first shows in Europe for 5 years.
After a 5-year hiatus, Filter returned to the music scene in 2008 with their brilliant and emotional new album – "Anthems For The Damned". Filter have been touring extensively in the US for the best part of 2008, performing tracks from "Anthems For The Damned", including the hit single "Soldiers Of Misfortune" alongside such Filter classics as "Hey Man, Nice Shot," "Take a Picture" and others. The Filter live experience is so powerful, the band plan to bring it to the fans in 2009 on THE PULSE SESSIONS, a live album they are recording soon.
