(PR) While you may have heard about the delayed physical release of reunited progressive metallurgists Cynic's Traced In Air, the digital version of the album is still available today at all online retailers. Following a remarkable 15 years after the release of their masterstroke Focus, Traced finds the Floridian prog-metal forefathers continuing to indulge their most exploratory urges with eight tracks of mind-altering tech-metal madness.
Delivered by French powerhouse Season of Mist, the album was recorded in California with Down producer Warren Riker, and features founding members Paul Masvidal (guitars/clean vocals) and Sean Reinert (drums) along with Sean Malone (bass), and newcomer Tymon Kruidenier (guitars/growls).
In other news, the band is still slated to support Swedish heavy metal juggernaut Opeth on their late 08 European tour. Full list of dates below, with an extensive North American tour to follow in early 2009.
