Jason Lamar Harris, 25, said nothing when he was sentenced in San Bernardino County Superior Court for the late-night stabbing of Terry Ray Taylor, 21, on May 23, 2003.
Harris was also ordered to pay $3,223 in restitution to cover burial costs and grief counseling for Taylor's mother. A previous prosecutor in the case, Doug Poston, said at a 2004 court hearing that Harris and co-defendant Amber Rose Riley, 21, were listening to a Slipknot CD before and after they killed Taylor at San Bernardino's Perris Hill Park. - more on this story
