The month-long pairing will begin May 11th in Minneapolis with stops in Chicago, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and more before ending in Nashville on June 5th. Berkeley will also break off for a few west coast solo shows along the way.
David Berkeley releases his 3rd studio CD Strange Light on May 26th via Thirty Tigers. Produced by Brian Deck (Iron and Wine, Counting Crows, Josh Ritter, Modest Mouse) and featuring Nickel Creek's Sara Watkins on background vocals, Strange Light is Berkeley's most accessible and powerful work yet.
David's lyrics are introspective and tell stories that delve deep into the American landscape. They seem to find triumph in the tragedy within them, the 'strange light' in the darkness.
