Steven didn't waste time filling the Axl Rose role in his band, here is the announcement: Adler's Appetite is happy to announce that they will be joined by vocalist Rick Stitch of the Los Angeles based band Ladyjack for a handful of upcoming shows that kick off this weekend. On Wednesday, April 29, Tony Bennett will present his painting of Duke Ellington to the Smithsonian Institution's National Portrait Gallery to mark the 110th anniversary of Ellington's birth in Washington, D.C. Immediately following the presentation, the portrait will be hung in the museum's "New Arrivals" gallery. The former guitarist for the band Lovedrug, David Thomas Owen IV's will release his debut solo LP, Solace My King, July 14th on Esperanza Plantation (Colour Revolt, Bear Colony). Recorded at Insomniac Studios in Arkansas with friends and former Lovedrug members Matthew Depper (bass) and Matthew Putman (drums), Owen composed most of the songs on piano, an instrument he wasn't very familiar with but one he quickly realized better suited his vision.
