The tour will kick off August 29 at the Outside Lands festival in San Francisco followed by a two-night headline stand at the Hollywood Palladium following on August 30 and September 1.
The tour begins in the wake of The Mars Volta's fifth full length studio album, Octahedron, which was released June 23 by Warner Bros. Records in the U.S., entering the Billboard chart at #12.
