Fans Biting On The Moog's You Raised A Vampire

(PR) Budapest's The Moog just released their sophomore album Razzmatazz Orfeum last month and their track "You Raised A Vampire" is having an unusual run.

Our continent is obsessed with the undead at the moment and nothing can be bigger than Twilight, it's upcoming sequel New Moon or HBO fang-bangers True Blood. "You Raised A Vampire" is no different.

Though the single from the Budapest quintet is nowhere to be found in any of these shows, we found it necessary to mention the obscenely fitting track in the company of these blood-thirsty juggernauts.

The Moog just performed last week at the enormous Sziget Festival in their homeland of Hungary along with Faith No More, Bloc Party, The Ting Tings and The Prodigy, to name a few.

An ode to romantic love with vampiric aspirations, "You Raised A Vampire" is a garage-goth dance rocker, with its dramatic interplay of theatrical vocals (by baritone-voiced singer Tonyo Szabo), Moog synthesizer hooks, double-picked electric guitars and disco-infused hi-hat and drum action.
