(PR) After two years of shaping, A Smile From The Trenches has inked a deal with up and coming record label DC Hardcore (home of punk legend H.R. of Bad Brains) and is ready to show the world what they've become. Originally formed in Grand Junction, Colorado, the band now resides in Los Angeles, California. They will hit the road in support of their debut EP, "Leave The Gambling For Vegas," which will be re-released with three new tracks on October 13, 2009. With notable tracks such as "Start Worryin' Star Warrian," "Dani," "Juicy Fruit," and a cover of the Katy Perry hit "Hot N Cold," the album has created a well-deserved buzz."This tour means so much to us. Collectively as a band, we are ready to share our new material with the masses and hype everyone up for our killer full-length album," shares lead singer Stoney Anderson.
Comparable to My Chemical Romance and The Used, A Smile From The Trenches' sound carries a unique punk-rock vibe with hints of unconventional pop, combining melodic melodies and gut-wrenching lyrics.
