Fred Durst Stabbed- Ex-Judas Priest Denies Teen Rape- KISS Guitarist Shot- Phishy Child Photo Session- Courtney Love OD & Drug Arrest and more top stories from 2003 was a top story for this week. Here it is again: Today we look at the top stories from the second half of 2003 as we continue our quick look back at some of the biggest stories of the past decade. In July of 2003 the Day in Rock was born and it sure has changed since then!

Yesterday at Korn / Limp Bizkit's New York show at the Hammerstein Ballroom, ol' Fred Durst whilst singing in the pit was hit in the face by some sort of hard or sharp projectile. He was quickly sent off to New York's St. Luke's Hospital for stitches, true meaning to "break yo' f*ckin' face tonite!" The New York Daily News review of the show says that Fred got cut in the chin during "Break Stuff". Wonder if Fred will encourage fans to "break stuff" in future concerts now that it appears that stuff includes his face? Durst's version of events here

Former Judas Priest drummer Dave Holland has appeared in court charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy, according to BBC News. Holland denies one charge of attempted rape and four of indecently assaulting the teenager. more

On a more positive front: The day Judas Priest fans have waited over 12 years for has finally come. Rob Halford has regained his faith and reunited with Judas Priest. more

Former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick was shot in the leg outside a nightclub early Thursday morning. In other report: Courtney Love was arrested on Thursday on drug related charges and then shortly after her release, she was rushed to a hospital after an apparent overdose. more

Motley Crue's Vince Neil is reportedly wanted by police in Nevada for allegedly assaulting a prostitute. Rock Confidential reports: According to the Lyon's County Sheriff's Office, there is a warrant for the arrest of Vince Neil for assaulting Trixxxie Blue [of the infamous Bunny Ranch in Nevada]. The Case# is 03-2457. The event happened on July 11, 2003. Trixxxie Blue called the police the night of the assault - possibly proving the severity of the case. The file does include pictures of a badly bruised Trixxxie Blue.

U.S. sales ofMetallica's latest album, which fell off the pop charts earlier this month, are a "bummer," according to the veteran rock group's singer, James Hetfield.
