(Billboard) Creative Man Productions has announced the initial line-up for the 2009 edition of the Summer Sonic festival. Headliners include Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance and Nine Inch Nails, all veterans of the bash. This year is the 10th anniversary for the premiere summer music festival in the Tokyo and Osaka areas and it will be held August 7-9, stretching over three days for the first time. Summer Sonic is held simultaneously in Tokyo and Osaka. The Tokyo leg is staged at the Chiba Lotte Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe, a convention center directly beside the stadium; in Osaka, the festival is staged at the Maishima Osaka site. - more on this story
