Slacker Overhauled

01/23/2009
.
(PR) Slacker, Inc. today released new features and visual enhancements to their web interface at Slacker.com. A

Additions include a streamlined visual interface with one-click access to artist bios and album reviews, new station creation options, as well as a "Buy Now" feature to purchase favorite tracks.

A new dynamic thumbnail-based station view makes it easy to browse Slacker's collection of over 100 genre stations and displays a thumbnail of the upcoming album for each station. Listeners can now create their own stations based on song titles in addition to artist or band names. Slacker listeners also now have direct access to purchase songs through a "Buy Now" button directing them to Amazon.com.

Slacker Personal Radio Web Player Update:

-Enhanced visual interface
The new, more intuitive graphic interface makes listening to Slacker Radio a richer experience. Quickly browse the entire selection of over 100 genre stations featuring cover art thumbnails for each individual station.

-Next album preview for all stations
All stations, including your own custom stations, preview the next album that will play, making it easy to decide which station to select.

-Advanced custom station creator
With the new station creator you can get started by simply searching for your favorite song or artist. Either listen to the station that Slacker automatically builds for you or customize it completely with powerful, easy to use tools.

- Next song "sneak peek"
As you listen, you can view the next album that will play on your station. This helps you ration your skips and stay within the skip limit if you are a Basic Radio listener or take advantage of your unlimited skips with a Slacker Radio subscription by finding just the right song.

-Easy access now playing views
One-click access to detailed artist bios and in-depth album reviews - in addition to the station description, station editor and station sharing resources.

-Pricing and Availability
Slacker Personal Radio is available for free on the web at www.Slacker.com
