A Vh1 Channel To Actually Feature Real Live Music

(vh1) Calling all classic fans! VH1 is about to rock your world! Beginning July 6 and spanning 100 days through October 13th, VH1 Classic is airing some of the biggest concerts in rock history with "100 Concerts in 100 Days." All concerts will air at 11AM* and 11PM* each day.

VH1 Classic will kick off the fun on July 6 with the "Us Festival" from 1983 featuring INXS, The Clash, Men at Work, and The English Beat. Additional highlights from the 100 days of programming include: "Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains the Same," "Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band: Live in NYC," "Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon," and "Iron Maiden: Somewhere Back in Time." Additionally, each Friday, VH1 Classic will premiere concerts including "Tina Turner Live in Holland," "John Lennon: Live in NYC '72," and "Brian Wilson Presents Pet Sounds: Live in London.

VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show" hosts Eddie Chump, Jim Florentine, and Don Jamieson are coming together across the pond for two exclusive, must-see premiere concerts. First Eddie, Jim, and Don take fans to Donnington, England for the two-day "Download Festival" featuring performances by a reunited Faith No More, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, and Def Leppard. Coverage includes back stage interviews with Anvil, Chris Connell, Tommy Lee, and Brian May of Queen.

Next the "That Metal Show" guys travel to Hyde Park for the "Hard Rock Calling Festival 2009" featuring Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Neil Young, and The Killers along with Dave Matthews Band, The Kooks, and Ben Harper and the Relentless 7. Fans can also catch exclusive coverage and behind the scenes interviews with artists from the "Hard Rock Calling festival 2009."
