Punk Sitcom: The CBC is reporting that Newfoundland-based comedian and Canadian TV personality Mary Walsh is creating a pilot for a new half-hour comedy titled Rise Up. The show will feature Walsh as aging punk rocker Siouxie Power, who moves her family from small-town Newfoundland to an upscale Toronto neighborhood after winning the lottery.more
