(Atlantic) Shinedown has announced details of its upcoming headline tour. The dates will kick off on September 10th at Baltimore's Powerplant Live, and then traverse the United States though an October 24th finale at Charlotte, North Carolina's Uptown Amphitheater.The tour carries on the sensational success of Shinedown's gold certified third album, "The Sound Of Madness." The acclaimed collection is highlighted by the #1 smash, "Second Chance," currently standing atop the Hot AC airplay ranking for the eighth consecutive week.
The Jacksonville, Florida-based quartet's biggest crossover hit to date, "Second Chance" has also topped the charts at both Active Rock and Mainstream, while reaching the top 5 at CHR/Top 40 outlets nationwide. The band will be performing "Second Chance" on NBC's The Today Show, airing Friday, September 4.
