The video will air exclusively on MTV, VH1, The N, Palladia, MTV Networks' high-definition music channel, MTV2, MTV Hits, MTV.com, VH1.com as well as on MTV and VH1's international channels and MTVNHD, the company's international high definition service on Friday, April 24th at 8pm (international premiere times to be announced locally), making it the first global cross-channel video premiere for MTV and VH1 networks. "Know Your Enemy" will be the first video from the rock trio's eagerly awaited new album, 21st Century Breakdown, which will be released in May 2009.
Green Day's "Know Your Enemy" global premiere demonstrates MTV's unique international scale and connects fans to the latest and greatest acts on the world music scene. "Know Your Enemy" will premiere on MTV's on-air and digital assets which number more than 140 windows, including 66 channels and 200 websites in 162 countries. Via VH1 channels, "Know Your Enemy" will air in 134 countries across Latin America, Europe and Asia.
