(Webster and Assoc) Wynonna will make a special appearance on this weekend's premiere episode of Hollywood Sings Country, a one-hour special that is a retrospective of performances by some of the biggest names in Hollywood trying their hand at country music in movies, television and other appearances.
Watch as stars Robert Duvall, Jeff Bridges, Billy Bob Thornton, Kevin Costner, Steve Martin and many others display their hidden vocal and instrumental talents. Hollywood Sings Country premieres Friday, May 22 at 9:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT.On her 7th studio album, Sing: Chapter 1, she celebrates 25 years of her epic journey by giving us a garden-seat glimpse of those extraordinary influences and the songs that inspired her. Wynonna's first studio album in six years, Sing pays homage to 11 country, rock, blues and soul-baring standards originated by legendary artists that have formed the unique soundtrack to her own life. The brand new song, "Sing," written by Rodney Crowell rounds out the album, which has critics already standing up to take notice: 'If you want to hear a singer's singer,' raves the All Music Guide, 'One who can move you to the core of your being – Wynonna Judd's deeply moving, authentic Sing: Chapter1 is a fine place to begin, This may be her finest hour.'
