Iggy Pop Prιliminaires album premiere: Punk legend Iggy Pop is debuting his new album, a Jazz inspired collection titled Preliminaires, on MySpace Music days before it hits stores. The album is inspired by a novel by French author Michel Houellebecq and marks the singer's 15th solo studio album. Grizzly Bear Veckatimest album premiere: The members of Brooklyn foursome Grizzly Bear will premiere their sophomore album, Veckatimest, on MySpace Music. The album gets its name from a Massachusetts island that the group visited while recording. It was produced by Grizzly Bear's own Chris Taylor (bass, woodwinds). Other band members include Ed Droste (vocals), Christopher Bear (drums) and Daniel Rossen (vocals/guitar). The band's new album is the follow-up to 2006's Yellow House. Julian Marley Awake album premiere: Julian Marley will debut his highly anticipated record, Awake, on MySpace Music. The album was recorded at the Lion's Den in Miami, Florida, and Tuff Gong in Kingston, Jamaica. It features collaborations with brothers Stephen Marley on "Little too Late" and Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley on "Violence in the Street" and rapper Mr. Cheeks on "Oh Girl."
