11/20/2009
.
(Submitted News) Celebrating the release of Forty One Sixty, an album with artists covering the songs of The Shambles, San Diego's FM94.9 and The Casbah are hosting a VERY special FREE performance from the band.

Putting a twist on the proceedings, The Shambles will be joined by guest vocalists for a special, one time only mix of covers and originals. On hand will be Joey Harris (ex- Beat Farmers) and San Diego Music Award winners Gary Hankins (Scarlet Symphony / Best Alternative Album 2009) and producer Gregory Page (Jason Mraz, The Rugburns/ Best Americana Album 2009) plus: Lee Harding (Echo Revolution), Wendy Bailey and more surprises!

The free night of music includes sets from two further Blindspot Records groups; Celtic fusion quintet Skelpin and garage-rockers The Shamey Jays, as well as closing tunes from indie heroes Lualta and The Canton Mudders in the Atari Lounge.

As if that's not enough, FREE Mexican food will be provided by Lucha Libre, giveaways will be provided by Black Cherry Music Group and there will be a live FM94.9 broadcast of "The Local Pyle," with DJ Tim Pyles, beginning at 8 p.m. You can tune in at: www.fm949sd.com/listen/index.aspx
