(PR) Artists from a variety of genres and eras appear on FUV Live 12, a compilation of exclusive live in-studio performances recorded at New York City radio station WFUV (90.7 FM, wfuv.org) in the last year.

Spanning the musical universe from Elvis Perkins to John Doe & Kathleen Edwards, Nikka Costa to The Pretenders and Raphael Saadiq to Richie Havens, the CD features 20 songs from the noncommercial station's famed Studio A. The CD is available with WFUV membership at www.wfuv.org.

"It's great to have the freedom on the radio to play French band Phoenix back-to-back with New England troubadour Ray LaMontagne or Nigerian singer-songwriter Asa," says WFUV Music Director Rita Houston. "If we think it's great music, it has a place here. WFUV has become a destination for artists from all over the world. You can hear that freedom and passion loud and clear on FUV Live 12."
