Orange County Choppers Rocks With Rock Classics

10/07/2009
.
(PR) Orange County Choppers, the ambitious custom motorcycle brand, is proud to present OCC ROCKS, a winning classic rock compilation CD, curated by OCC founder Paul Teutul, Sr., star of the hugely successful television show American Chopper. The second show of the new season, airing on TLC on Thursday, October 29 at 9PM ET/PT, will be focused on the making of the album and the creation of a custom theme bike for the album. OCC ROCKS hits stores on October 27, and features three new tracks by OCC: The Band, including one showcasing Paul Sr.'s chops on "Summertime Blues."

New episodes of American Chopper, one of TLC's top-rated shows, kick off on October 22, and Paul Sr. chose OCC: The Band (comprised of Orange County Choppers co-workers) to be the subject of the second episode on October 29. The crew builds a custom bike dedicated to OCC ROCKS, which will be featured on the album cover art.

The OCC ROCKS compilation features Mountain, Eddie Money, Mott The Hoople, Rick Derringer, Blue Oyster Cult, Toto, Ted Nugent, Guess Who, Kansas, The Outlaws, Molly Hatchet, Judas Priest and three tracks by OCC: The Band, 17 tracks in total, priced at $12.98. The band, which has opened up for Lynyrd Skynyrd, complements Paul Sr.'s superb selection of classic rock numbers with their bluesy rock n' roll flavor. OCC ROCKS shows that classic rock is never out of style, especially when brought together with Orange County Choppers.
