The Sounds of Late Night

10/09/2009
.
(PR) The Sounds are excited to return to Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 20th to premiere their second single, "Beatbox," on the show's outdoor stage. This performance comes in support of their latest critically acclaimed album, CROSSING THE RUBICON. Renowned for their intense and exuberant live shows, the Swedish quintet are currently on their largest headlining tour to date and have been captivating fans and critics worldwide with their irresistible fist-pumping rock, club anthems and sexed up new wave.

The band is thrilled to announce a second night at The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on October 22nd due to an overwhelming demand by fans. Electropop outfit Shiny Toy Guns, along with Semi Precious Weapons and DJ Destructo will support this added date. Dance-punk band Moving Units have been added along with Foxy Shazam to support the show on the 21st. The Sounds have a rich history of legendary "don't miss" performances in Los Angeles, the city they call their "second home." Over the last few years, the band has sold out The Palladium, Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, The Wiltern, The Henry Fonda and The Avalon respectively.

Semi Precious Weapons will join the tour, in addition to Foxy Shazam and guest DJ's, October 7th and continue until Chicago. Semi Precious Weapons recently toured with Ladyhawke and Lady Gaga. Matt and Kim, recent winners of the MTV Breakthrough Video award, will be the band's support in Europe. Shiny Toy Guns will also be joining The Sounds in San Diego and San Francisco.

Already having completed an arena tour with Fall Out Boy in Europe and a 3-month US Amphitheatre tour with No Doubt, all in support of CROSSING, The Sounds are excited to be bringing their headlining show to fans everywhere.
