Bobby Long Returning To America For Fall Tour

.
(PR) Singer-songwriter Bobby Long will return to the U.S., beginning October 22 in New York City, to begin his fall tour. The young Brit, whose song "Let Me Sign" is included in the soundtrack of the blockbuster film "Twilight," headed to Europe for shows in Spain, France, Germany and his home base in London after two months on the road in the U.S. He now has U.S. dates scheduled until the end of the year.

The "Dangerous Summer" tour took him all over the U.S. and Canada, playing more than three dozen packed club dates and selling nearly 10,000 copies of his 10-song collection, DIRTY POND SONGS, that was recorded in his bedroom especially to be available during the tour. Two songs from the CD, "Left to Lie" and "The Bounty of Mary Jane," are available for download from iTunes and other digital outlets. He also has a live recording available of his first performance back in April at New York's Arlene's Grocery, with his "Being A Mockingbird" from that recording available from digital outlets.

Fans first discovered Long's compelling brand of acoustic music via the film, YouTube and his continually-updated MySpace page, which surpassed one million views during the summer tour. He appeared on television's "Good Morning Texas" in Dallas, "Live at 9" in Memphis, the WGN Midday News in Chicago, KABC-TV's "On the Red Carpet" Report in Los Angeles and Canada's MuchMusic Network and national "Canada AM" during the first leg of the tour.

The fall tour will see Long's return to many of the venues he played previously as well as several first-time appearances in new markets. A highlight of the upcoming tour will be a special Halloween night event at Neil's Music Room in Memphis. Long plans to begin recording his first studio CD in the new year after a series of European shows in January.
