First some fans noticed it sounded very similar to an obscure 1991 recording by Puerto Rican singer SaFire. According to Reuters, a version of the SaFire song, called "I Never Heard," was Posted on YouTube on Monday.
But it turns out that song dates back even further but was actually co-written by Jackson. According to the AP, the track was originally called "I Never Heard," and was written for a duets album for 60s singer Paul Anka.
