Rock and Sports Stars Plan Celebrity Rock-n-Golf Tournament

(PR) For what will be the biggest rock 'n' roll celebrity golf tournament to hit the Nashville scene, and serving as the unofficial kick-off to CMA Awards week, Rivergate Studios (which is co-owned by Chris Henderson [3 Doors Down] and Bobby Capps [38 Special]) will be holding its first annual Celebrity Rock-n-Golf Tournament on Monday, November 9, 2009.

The event will take place at the Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club in Hendersonville, TN, with an after party/all-star jam at 12th & Porter in Nashville, TN. The after party jam session is exclusive to the golf tournament participants.

All proceeds will go to Lyrics For Life, a charity founded by Ken Block of Sister Hazel which benefits pediatric cancer patients and their families. Packages are going quickly, with only a few more foursomes available at this time. A celebrity will be paired with each foursome participating for rounds of five man scramble.
