Rock and Sports Stars Plan Celebrity Rock-n-Golf Tournament

10/15/2009
.
(PR) For what will be the biggest rock 'n' roll celebrity golf tournament to hit the Nashville scene, and serving as the unofficial kick-off to CMA Awards week, Rivergate Studios (which is co-owned by Chris Henderson [3 Doors Down] and Bobby Capps [38 Special]) will be holding its first annual Celebrity Rock-n-Golf Tournament on Monday, November 9, 2009.

The event will take place at the Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club in Hendersonville, TN, with an after party/all-star jam at 12th & Porter in Nashville, TN. The after party jam session is exclusive to the golf tournament participants.

All proceeds will go to Lyrics For Life, a charity founded by Ken Block of Sister Hazel which benefits pediatric cancer patients and their families. Packages are going quickly, with only a few more foursomes available at this time. A celebrity will be paired with each foursome participating for rounds of five man scramble.

Individuals or foursomes interested in participating should sign up quickly (at www.rivergatestudios.net) to reserve one of the remaining slots, as they are expected to sell out soon. Interested sponsors can also contact wickedcoolevents@gmail.com for more information.
