Amy Grant and More for Holiday Notes From Home was a top story for this week. Here it is again: (PR) A very special Christmas concert is being taped October 26, 2009, at 7 p.m. at the Grand Ole Opry House. This annual event will be hosted by Lt. Gen. Charles Stenner, Commander, Air Force Reserve Command and Nashville's own dynamic duo, Charlie Chase and Lorianne Crook. The concert is appropriately called Holiday Notes From Home and the free tickets are an early present to anyone who wishes to attend. The show will be taped live and features performances from Amy Grant, Take 6, a surprise performer and the Band of the Air Force Reserve with special guests the Air Force Strings. Members of the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve, Arnold AFB, Tenn., service members from Fort Campbell, Ky., and the Tennessee Army & Air National Guard will be invited as special guests and will join with the participating artists to send heartfelt holiday greetings to our soldiers and their family members who are serving around the world. Holiday Notes From Home will air multiple times on the Armed Forces Radio and Television Network during the Christmas holidays. - more on this story
