A Fine Frenzy Set Christmas Release was a top story for this week. Here it is again: (PR) Wasting no time following up its acclaimed second album, Bomb in a Birdcage, A Fine Frenzyled by Alison Sudolhas announced a special treat for the holidays. On November 3, 2009, the band will be releasing the six-song EP Oh Blue Christmas, available exclusively at Target, Target.com and the Target area on iTunes. The whimsical collection contains three holiday classics ("Blue Christmas," "Winter Wonderland," and "Christmas Time is Here," from the beloved Charlie Brown Christmas) alongside three seasonal Sudol originals ("Redribbon Foxes," "Winter White," and "Wish You Well"). "It was the most wonderful thing," says the singer of the recording sessions for Oh Blue Christmas, which saw the band expanding its sound with accents from horns, mandolins, and pedal-steel guitars.
