. (PR) The Lovemakers have found a champion in the world's top music retailer. iTunes has selected the song "Love is Dead" for the coveted free Single of the Week beginning today. Perfect timing as Apple announced the release of iTunes 9 just this afternoon.

It's a rare boost for a band managing themselves and releasing with only the help of a tiny indie production company. This is an unprecedented move for iTunes, to give attention to a young band discovery this way.
