America Idol Winner Kris Allen Releases New Song

. (Jive) America Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen is set to release his debut album on 19 Recordings/Jive Records November 17. The highly anticipated first single from the upcoming album "Live like We Are Dying" goes to radio Monday, September 21.

Producers on the forthcoming album include Saalam Remi (Amy Winehouse, Nas. Leona Lewis), Steve Kipner (Christina Aquilera, David Archuleta ), Andrew Frampton (Kylie Minogue, Natasha Bedingfield) and Toby Gad (Beyonce, Fergie, Jordin Sparks).

His popular victory song "No Boundaries" went to 11 on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles chart earlier this year. On the eighth season of American Idol, the 23-year old Conway, Arkansas native, who is a pianist and self-taught guitar player, achieved growing popularity and enthusiastic reviews weekly from television viewers and critics alike. - Listen to the single here
