(PR) Youth Group are currently touring the U.S. as main support for the reunited Get Up Kids, as they warm up for their own headline tour next month. The band's second return to the States in support of their latest LP, The Night Is Ours, will kick off October 4 in Urbana, Ill. and snake its way through the Midwest and East Coast.
The Syndey-based band's fourth full-length album, The Night Is Ours, is the newest chapter in the band's impressive catalogue of shimmering, melody-driven rock. Produced by Tim Kevin, Anthony The and Youth Group, the album was recorded in a near-derelict 1920s mess hall on Sydney's harbor. Like their previous work, the 10-song collection is replete with chiming guitars, pensive lyrics and strong hooks, all buoyed by frontman Toby Martin's wafting croon.
