Mike Patton Doesn't Know Why Faith No More Reunited

(Rock Radio) Faith No More frontman Mike Patton isn't sure why the band chose to reform last year. He doesn't know whether they're still relevant and he fears it might be a fans' nostalgia trip but whichever way it goes, he know he's enjoying it.

The iconic alt-rockers got back together in early 2009 (without guitarist Big Jim Martin), and after a warm-up show in London made their first official comeback appearance at the Download festival in June. Since then they've continued to play live, and continue to be well-received by crowds.

'Why now?' is a question I can't answer with any sort of intelligence. I have no idea.," Patton said in an interview. "There's something in our culture that fetishises things from the past we've got more attention now than we ever had before we reunited. That's weird and it tells you about people and our society." - more on this story
